Description

A Gympie backyard has become an accidental tourist attraction for Lord of the Rings fans. Allan and Elaine began building their very own 'Hobbit Shire' in 2020. 'We just thought it would be fun. We had a messy backyard here, and we thought what can we do? One night over a couple of red wines we came up with the idea of making a Hobbit-ville.' Donations in the pond appreciated but not a requirement.
