The 'galah' is modern, very clean, comfortable and is a well appointed three & a half star Hostel with a green Eco-friendly tick as appraised by AAA Tourism Australia. We are well facilitated including a wheelchair-lift to assist the disabled, a big list of free 'things' including free breakfast every day and free rice offered for any meal of the day. Superbly located in Adelaide's true centre, the Blue Galah is so central that you can walk anywhere in the City in minutes. Bars, clubs, pubs, museums, retail precincts malls and arcades are everywhere, while food, coffee and snacks abound, and nightlife is but a short walk in any direction. Transport to all facilities is on every corner. Adelaide even runs a free city tram service, and a cheap service to the beach is outside our front door.
