The bird-life is booming, the stars are doing their brilliant best, so now is a great time to stop by. Bookings at 0872000050 or currawongcorner@outlook.com Overnight Traveller's rate (arrive after 3pm, leave by 10am) at $10 a night. Camping sites from $15 a night, either via phone, email or online via Hipcamp. The camp-ground is 2WD, large vehicle friendly and sites are sheltered and easily accessible, with most sites suitable for larger rigs. We regularly sight kangaroo, echidna, and many different bird species including magnificent wedge tail eagles. Located between the Barossa and the mighty Murray, Currawong Corner is situated within the River Murray Dark Sky Reserve, so bring your telescope to enjoy our night sky. We have basic bush drop toilets (no showers). Dump points are only about 15 minutes away, as are shops, pubs and fuel. This is a pet friendly camp. There are several tracks though the scrub to enjoy a walk and our great sunsets over the backdrop of the Adelaide Hills.
