Laura Bay Conservation Park

Campground

Description

Self-sufficient bush camping is permitted in the Laura Bay campground. Fees apply to camp in this park. Please pay for vehicle entry and book your campsite prior to arrival as self registration stations are no longer available in this park. Campsites are unpowered and suitable for tents and camper trailers. There are no facilities. Laura Bay Conservation Park represents the original vegetation that once covered South Australia's western coastline. The sheltered bay, with its tidal samphire flats and mangroves, provides ideal feeding grounds for sea birds, many of which migrate from the northern hemisphere each year. Laura Bay Conservation Park is 20km south east of Ceduna. Access is via Decres Bay Road (unsealed) or from Flinders Highway. Dogs are not permitted in this park.
