Description

Merna Mora is a popular tourist destination in the Wilpena Pound area of the Central Flinders Ranges. We offer a variety of farm stay and self contained accommodation. This includes self contained accommodation (9 cabins), 10 bunkhouse type accommodation (Torrens Rooms), powered sites and bush camping in a secluded creek setting. Merna Mora has the facilities to host coach groups of up to 45. A fully equipped communal kitchen is available. Both powered sites and bush camping are offered. Bush camping - You may camp near the creek at the entrance to Merna Mora in a designated area. Permits are available from the homestead or at the site. This area is still being developed. Showers are available at the station for $6/person. Merna Mora Tourism plays a vital part in the cattle and sheep station enterprise and offers a genuine and authentic experience for those wishing to escape and witness the outback lifestyle and atmosphere. Resident hosts offer a personalised touch.
