Description

Located in the Gunbower State Forest, beside the Gunbower Creek, this site is not an ideal campsite. Preferred by day visitors. Pet friendly. Gunbower Island is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Popular activities include bird watching, canoeing, fishing and pleasure driving. Visitors should note that the island is subjected to annual flooding, typically during the months of August to November. There is no rubbish collection service so please take your rubbish home.
