Description

OXLEY-MILAWA-HERITAGE-TRAIL. This is the original location of the Oxley Railway station and was part of the Wangaratta to Whitfield Railway line which was abandoned in 1953 after the railway line was severely damaged in bush fires in 1952. Steam engines from this line still operate at Belgrave Puffing Billy site on the outskirts of Melbourne Vic.
