Description

Buntine Rock is a large granite outcrop providing spectacular views of the surrounding farming land. A great picnic site and wildflowers in season. Free camping is available at Buntine Rocks. The 1st campground is a large flat gravel parking area that has been provided by shire. Please keep it neat and tidy and take your rubbish with you. There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks, camping areas and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site. The entry road to Buntine Rock can be rough. Campers with caravans and large vehicles may wish to camp in this camping area.
