Our property is now open to self contained campers but all bookings must be made in advance via hipcamo website. Directions to the property will then be emailed to directly. River Retreat is a small farm of just under 10 acres with extensive frontage to the pristine river surrounded by nature reserves. The property is being restored back to its original vision - a piece of nature. It is nestled on a river filled with wildlife including black swans and plenty of space for people to enjoy. Bring everything you need and leave only footprints, please. We are offering unpowered camping right on the river or amongst the shaded trees. The only neighbours will be kangaroos, black swans, ducks, a variety of other birdlife and sheep. Bring a tent, camper trailer, caravan or motor home there is plenty of room. Bring a kayak and canoe to extra the river or have a picnic overlooking the river. There are no amenities so you will need to bring your own toilet. There is no water so you need to bring your own drinking water. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood is available on the property for free. PET FRIENDLY!
