Diggers Rest Station is a working cattle station in the iconic Kimberley, near Wyndham & Kununurra. We offer self-sufficient bush camping from April to September (weather and water permitting).
The drive is 46 kilometres from the historic town of Wyndham along the picturesque King River Road. It is accessible to camper trailers and off road caravans (2WD gravel access) but does become corrugated. Diggers Rest Station is the first (or last) campsite on your Gibb River Road adventure.
King River Camp Ground: Choose one of our four Bush Camp sites down by the King River for stunning river views.
Camping in tents is allowed. Camp sites are unpowered. Dogs are permitted.
From self-guided fishing, bush walking to bird watching, there's plenty to do or you can do very little.
