Description

This is campsite number 16 at El Questro Wilderness resort. It has enough room for a couple of camper trailers or tents. It's right on the river with a deep entry to the water. There are tropical fish slowly swimming around all day. The toilet is provided about 50 metres away and shared by number 15 I believe. There are tall tree surrounding the campsite, so plenty of shade. The ground is level and easy to peg tents into the sand. The fire pit is ready to go and you can purchase wood from the campground. It's easy to think this must be the best location in the whole place. We have only seen a few others, but none with the outlook this one has. It's about 2 or 3km to the main campground where the facilities are. The private sites have fire pits and a toilet only.
