Description

Free bush camping on the Granite and Woodlands Discovery Trail. Large clear area off the road and behind the 'Forrestania Pub' tin shed. Has shaded areas. There are no facilities. Campers need to be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Site 4 of the Granite and Woodlands Discovery Trail. Starting in the 1920s the Forrestania Plots were a trial to establish new farming settlements east of the State Barrier Fence, finally abandoned in the late 1960s.
