Description

Kurrajong is the nearer of the two campgrounds in Bungle Bungle National Park to Echidna Chasm and Mini Palms Gorge. Bookings are required and fees apply. Bungle Bungle National Park is open in the dry season only - usually April to November, dates vary. Bookings can be made right up to the time of arrival through the Purnululu Visitor Centre. For other periods, booking will be available when the seasonal opening and closing of the park is confirmed. Access is suitable for high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles with low-range gears and high clearance, single axle, towable units only. Picnic tables and non-flush toilets are provided. There is a generator free area. Visitors must carry in all water, food, fuel and other supplies. The campground is located 60km from Great Northern Highway via unsealed Spring Creek Track (approximatley 2 hours, pending road conditions). (168km from Halls Creek, 311km from Kununurra, 326km from Wyndham). Pets are not permitted.
