Description

Lake Poorrarecup is the largest lake in the Shire of Cranbrook and is popular for swimming and skiing during the summer months. Change rooms and toilets are available on site. Camping is available at the lake. Camping fee is payable to the Shire of Cranbrook Ranger on demand, Shire of Cranbrook Administration Office, Frankland River Community Resource Centre, or on site caretakers who will be in residence during peak periods. Sites are unpowered and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes. facilities include toilets, showers, picnic tables, boat ramp and playground. There is no potable water available at the lake. Please be advised that pets are not allowed at the lake sites. Please ensure you camp only in designated areas. Take your rubbish with you and protect the environment around the lake. Camping and cooking fires are prohibited within the Shire of Cranbrook from 1 October - 30 April each year or unless written permission has been expressly given by the Shire of Cranbrook as is pursuant with the Bush Fires Act 1954 Section 25.1(a) through to 1(d).
