Note that users found to be misusing the reviews feature of the app may be banned from sites. ===== The white beach and turquoise waters of this wide, sheltered bay are a must-see and a great place to enjoy water-based activities. The sheltered bay is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, surfing and launching small boats. Be aware that these beaches are notoriously treacherous for vehicles and it is easy to become bogged in the most innocent looking wet or dry sand. Ask the ranger about surface conditions and tides. If you drive your four-wheel-drive vehicle onto the beach, beware of pedestrians and drive slowly. Normal road rules apply. Bookings are essential. Sites are unpowered and suitable for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes and caravans. NO CAMPFIRES or solid fuel appliances (including stoves, barbeques and heaters) at any time. Campers´ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared. Generators permitted 8am-1pm and 5pm-9pm. Pets are not permitted.
