Description

This free 24 hour rest area is located next to the Maitland River and offers toilets and swimming. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans. Camping in tents is allowed. Any person overstaying/camping illegally may be issued with an on-the spot $100 infringement notice and will be moved on. Rest stops There are three 24-hour rest stops conveniently located near Karratha; Robe River Roadhouse and Miaree Pool, both between Onslow and Karratha, and West Peawah Roadhouse between Karratha and Port Hedland.
