Description

Located in the northern Goldfields, Niagara Dam is a great stop on the Golden Quest Discovery Trail. Enjoy camping, a picnic or a refreshing swim. Named after the once-booming town of Niagara, the dam was built in 1898, during the gold rush, to provide water for the railway from Kalgoorlie to Menzies. Facilities include toilets, picnic tables, and a dump point. Bring your own firewood. Do not cut down live trees. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. It is dog friendly.
