Description
A beautiful and secluded bush campsite overlooking Pender Bay. A private and unique oppertunity to visit one of Australias' most treasured destinations.
Located approximately 190km north of Broome, on Western Australia's Dampier Peninsula, Pender Bay is a natural maternity ward and resting ground for humpback whales.
You will be astounded by the sheer number of these majestic creatures that congregate in Pender Bay at the northern extent of their annual migration, from July to October. Watching from land or on the water, the experience is unforgettable.
Aside from whale watching, there is so much to see and do. Known for its very high marine biodiversity, Pender Bay offers incredible fishing even from the beach and nature walks.
We have no residential crocodiles however we encourage croc awareness to all those visiting Dampier Peninsula.
Choose a camp site with superb ocean views. All of our 20 camp sites have ocean views, and are located on the cliffs overlooking the beach. Our accommodation also includes an air-conditioned ensuite cabin and a low-powered tent site.
