Hamelin Pool Caravan Park & Telegraph Station

Description
The Hamelin Pool Caravan Park is located in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. Take a guided tour of the Old Telegraph Station, discover the stromatolites, relax at the tea room with a meal or a drink, enjoy the beautiful sunset and stay overnight at the Hamelin Pool Caravan Park... an unforgettable experience.
Powered and unpowered tent and caravan sites, units with aircon, camp kitchen and BBQ, toilets and showers, fresh water, pets allowed on lead (sites only, not in park accommodation).
Telstra phone reception available. Signal strength can be unreliable.
Unforgettable experience is exactly right, call this a Caravan Park??? The nearest dump point is 105kms away. meaning your toilet contents has to ferment. Yummy hey?
DO NOT DRINK or fill your your water tanks here, it's NOT potable.
240V Power is just a maybe as its generator driven.
The view from my caravan is an old trailer full of rubbish with dead tree branches everywhere. So yes, for 50 bucks a night it's a very unforgettable experience, DON'T waste your money cause there isn't any way to get a refund.
On the positive side though, the lady in the office is really nice, very friendly indeed.
