This free day use area is a precious place as it is where heros camped out and went to great lengths to save this forest and these magnificent trees. It offers some background history from the 1990s successful campaign, toilets, nice scenery and wildlife viewing. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
