The Old Timberline Trail goes from Nannup to Cambray Siding, passing through St John Brook Conservation park for much of its 20 kilometres. As the name suggests, the trail follows a disused railway line. It passes both Barrabup and Workmans Pools and meanders through jarrah forest. It is suitable for walking or cycling. There is a hut on the trail, about three kilometres north of Barrabup Pool. It is called the Sleeper Hewers Hut and sleeps four to six people.
