Description

The town of Youanmi once stood here with a population of about 2000 in the 1930's. The town rose and fell with the fate of the nearby mine site. Wander around the area today and you can see the foundations of some buildings, rusty metal bed frames, old car parts and other evidence of the former town. Two trees stand out as very different from the natural vegetation and must be the remnants of someone's garden.
